Account Manager

Inventory Source has an active customer base of online retailers that need assistance learning how to use our tools to run their online ecommerce business. Our Account Managers are a vital part of our business by supporting and educating our customers on how to setup & utilize our tools on a daily basis. We are seeking energetic, customer service oriented Account Managers to join our growing startup and friendly support team. The ideal candidate has a passion for assisting people in learning how to use software/tools to improve their business online.

Your Mission

  • Ensure our customer’s success and improve their experience through responsive and friendly communication.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls to assist our customers in getting setup, using our software, and answering general support questions.
  • Promote an efficient and ever-improving onboarding & support experience for Inventory Source customers.
  • Drive improvements in our ability to ensure our Customer’s success through process improvements and documentation.
  • Work with our support team to ensure our customer’s technical issues are resolved.
  • Work with the engineering team to improve our product, process, and overall operations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a project management or technical support role.
  • Passion for customer service and improving customer experiences.
  • Considers themselves efficient & organized.
  • Web & Tech savvy – proficient with general computer and web usage.
  • Experience/Interest in eCommerce and Online Retail is a plus.
  • While not required, experience with any of the following areas would be a plus:
    • Excel Advanced Functions & Data Management
    • Experience connecting and using a FTP Client
    • Ecommerce Platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc)

Frontend UX / Vue Developer

Inventory Source is a small company with passionate team members located 2 blocks from the beach! We are building a new product that leverages new technology and requires dedicated developers to champion features to completion. Our Developers are a vital part of our business as they build the core product and define core product workflows.

 

Due to our small team size, at Inventory Source you will work directly on major product initiatives. Tasks presented to you will allow for creative freedom and will often require quick iterations with our product team to achieve a functional feature. There are mentors available – but given the small company size – developers working at Inventory Source need to be able to champion tasks independently and work productively with autonomy.

 

Ideal candidates have a few years experience working with both front-end and back-end components, with a heavier focus on the front-end and user-experience.

 

While having a degree is helpful – above all else we are seeking passionate developers that are motivated, quick to learn, and have experience and knowledge working with core front-end concepts in modern languages.

 

Your Mission:

  • Build UI / UX experiences leveraging Vue.js, Bulma, and SCSS for custom styling
  • Build API endpoints to retrieve / manipulate data within data-stores (PostgresSQL, ElasticSearch, & Redis)
  • Work with the product team to understand feature requests and champion those feature requests by building the user experience and necessary components
  • Build development tools and re-usable components that catalyze future development within the product

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Java and Vue (or comparable technologies and the ability to translate this experience)
  • Efficient and organized with the ability to think creatively to build robust UI components
  • Technical Concepts that candidates should have experience with :
    • Abstracting and building reusable UI components
    • Using NPM for dependency management
    • Git (branching & handling merge conflicts)
    • Experience with complex SQL to retrieve data for views / components
    • UI route management & API endpoint building concepts
  • Experience with the following is preferred, but not required
    • Spring (Java)
    • Understanding I/O, Network, and DB bottlenecks
    • SQL – efficient / complex queries, indices, & data model
    • JOOQ or similar ORM technology
    • SOLR and/or ElasticSearch
    • AWS and/or Cloud Infrastructure

Software Developer (Java)

Inventory Source has a robust technology stack that requires dedicated and competent developers to maintain and improve. Our Developers are a vital part of our business as they build the core product and communicate workflows to other team members. We are seeking energetic, competent, and self-motivated developers to join our growing startup company. The ideal candidate has a self-driven attitude and is passionate about building software, tools, and implementing infrastructural improvements that provide tangible impacts to a growing product. These contributions will directly affect the success of our customers and provide tools that empower our support staff.

Your Mission

  • Work with technology leadership to make infrastructural improvements to the our system; considering and mitigating potential impacts
  • Analyze code architecture and abstract redundant components to reusable modules that ease the burden for other developers and increase stability of the system
  • Write clean and legible code with comments that enable deterministic workflows and extensible customizations
  • Build development tools and frameworks that aid in the development of new integrations
  • Integrate with 3rd party endpoints (REST, SOAP, FTP) using various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) with varying workflows
  • Work with other team members to build concise documentation of the code workflows so we can communicate behaviors properly to our customers
  • Consider and handle exceptions elegantly while logging important information that enables our support staff to resolve problems without involving the development team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a Computing focus
  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional development environment with Java – ideally leading or working independently on at least 1 project
  • Passion for building clean and maintainable software
  • Efficient and organized with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Technical Concepts that should be understood :
    • SQL – efficient / complex queries, indices, & data model
    • Inversion of Control
    • Dependency Management
    • Abstracting code to reduce redundancy
    • I/O, Network, and DB bottlenecks
    • Big(O) – Memory and Time complexities
    • Git (version control)
    • Deployment concepts

Support Operations Manager

Inventory Source has an active and growing customer base of online retailers that need assistance learning how to use our tools and services to run their ecommerce businesses. We have a global team of support members assisting new and existing customers. We are seeking a process driven, support oriented leader to help build a more efficient and effective customer support operation.

 

The ideal candidate has a passion for building operational efficiencies through process. They are focused on listening to their customers and colleagues for pain points and creating solutions. They are team oriented and customer success driven.

Your Mission

  • Manage global support team to ensure an efficient and ever-improving onboarding & support experience for Inventory Source customers.
  • Ensure our customer’s success and improve their experience through responsive and friendly communication.
  • Drive improvements in our ability to ensure our customer’s success through process improvements and documentation.
  • Work with our support team to ensure our customer’s technical issues are resolved.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in technical support role.
  • 1+ years in leadership role.

Sales Representative

Inventory Source has an established marketing funnel supplying our sales team 150-200 inbound leads per day. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Sales Representative to help qualify and close these inbound leads. The ideal candidate enjoys learning about our customers’ businesses, identifying pain points, building a solution, and closing a deal.

Your Mission

  • Drive revenue by meeting and exceeding your sales quota goals.
  • Solution Based Selling: Identify pain points, determine needs/budget, and present a solution.
  • Responsive, friendly, and professional communication, demos, and appointment setting.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to improve sales processes and materials.
  • Coordinate with Account Managers for smooth and efficient customer handoffs.

Requirements

  • 1+ yr of software sales experience.
  • Enjoys working in fast paced, quota driven environment
  • Considers themselves efficient & organized
  • Experience/Interest in ecommerce and online retail is a plus.

Internship Program

This paid internship for college students offers hands-on experience in the ecommerce and software industry. You will have the opportunity to learn our software and tech processes as well as develop sales techniques and customer service skills. You will work alongside our sales and support teams to obtain knowledge into how to best work with customers and gain valuable time management, communication and technological expertise that will help in developing your career experience post-graduation.

 

This internship can be either part or full time and can work flexibly around your school schedule. The pay is $13/hour.

 

Your Mission

  • Provide our customers support for issues and questions related to our software via scheduled phone calls and emails
  • In-depth troubleshooting for more complex support issues, including escalating support tickets to our developers
  • Develop proficiency in the use of our software and how to upsell customers based on their unique business needs
  • Work with other team members to efficiently problem solve and collaborate on various software questions and tickets

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team
  • Highly adaptable, willing to learn and strong problem-solving skills
  • Can work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
